Homebuyer Education




There are many types of homebuyer seminars. While they all serve various needs only those that meet the educational requirements, when homebuyer education is required to use a specific program, are listed on this site. These seminars are offered by a wide range of providers. Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® lists these seminars as a public service and believe they meet the current requirements for homebuyer counseling and/or education certification.

HomeBuying 101
An interactive 8-hour class where industry professionals teach what you need to know about the home buying process. You will learn about different home loans, property types, and much more. Industy teachers include a lender, a RealtorĀ®, a home inspector and a title officer. Pre-registration is required and classes usually fill up 1-2weeks in advance.
