Hacienda CDC - The ABCs of Homebuying in English. The purpose of this course is to educate first-time homebuyers in all aspects of the home buying process and homeownership responsibilities. HomeBuying 101
An interactive 8-hour class where industry professionals teach what you need to know about the home buying process. You will learn about different home loans, property types, and much more. Industry teachers include a lender, a Realtor®, a home inspector and a title officer. Pre-registration is required and classes usually fill up 1-2weeks in advance. Pathways Home: Homebuyer Education Class (2 parts)
This 10 hour homebuyer education course uses a culturally specific curriculum for members of Portland's Urban Native American Community to learn the steps for successful home buying & home ownership. The class is organized in 2 parts: Part 1 reviews the steps to homeownership, including making a spending plan, cleaning up credit, income qualifying and how to read and understand all the paperwork. Part 2 features presentations from local Realtors, lenders and home inspectors and reviews the closing process. Free breakfast, lunch and materials are provided. Parts 1 & 2 must be completed for graduation.

Money Smart Financial Education: 6 week course
We encourage the intentional use of money by living with a household budget, establishing savings goals, and understanding the cost associated with the financial decisions the participants make in their daily lives. This 6 week course occurs quarterly. Participants will meet one night a week for six weeks. Website: www.clackamasclt.org

Foreclosure/Loss Mitigation Counseling
The primary purpose in offering this course is to provide one-on-one counseling to victims of foreclosure. out service provides advocacy with the homeowners lender/servicer and the homeowner to determine the best option to save the home, referrals to social service and employment agencies, as needed as well as referrals to legal services. We also help the homeowner identify area within their budget to save money that will help them through their current situation. If necessary to pull credit report, a $20 fee will be required.

Foreclosure Prevention Information Session
A free information session presented by Hacienda CDC, a HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency, explaining the federal foreclosure prevention program called "Making Home Affordable." We will help you through the process of making an informed decision about the future of your home. Classes are in both English and Spanish.

AAAH Homebuyer Education Class
To help individuals understand the homebuying process, roles & responsibilities of homebuyer professionals and the understanding and importance of credit and savings.
